The builders left a very convenient ramp for loaded touring bikes. It's usually quite hard negotiating the steps.
This is the view from our hotel in Paris. We are right opposite the Gare du Nord, which is great as we can't carry our bags any further than that. We sent our bikes as baggage on the Eurostar and will collect them tomorrow morning before we catch a taxi to the Gare de Lyon. We saw our bikes being unloaded from the train- so that's good news. The bad news is that there is a train strike in France tomorrow, but it looks as if our train may be ok.
